Who am i?
My name is Michael Robert Brennan, and I'm a Graphic Designer. I do just about anything that has to do with electronic art: this includes, but of course is not limited to: Web Design, Photography, Videography, Slideshow presentations, and other presentational media. I graduated High School in June, 2012; and began College in August, 2012. I've been a Web Designer since the beginning of my Senior Year, I worked for a small herbal store in Sandy, UT. Web Design was my favorite before I was introduced to Film, I began my work as a Film Production Technician also at the beginning of my Senior Year, I helped run my High School's television broadcast station "EasTV"; During which I was the Director of Photography. However, I created the weekly Football Overview; to do this I attended all Football games, and recorded as much as I could fit onto my few CF cards. After the games, I dedicated the rest of my weekend to creating a music video to summarize the highlights of the game. They were loved so much that they were aired every Monday, and my team was even prioritized at the games.
My career as a videographer had begun with a few simple Football games, and developed when I found my love for editing, then fell into more serious short films that include my work in "HIM", "The Spirit Stick Heist", and "Gloom". Expanding my horizons was a priority for me when I entered College, it was quite easy to envelope myself in other aspects of Film once I joined my Directing class. Joining FLM 2013 before taking it's prerequisites was the most productive choice I have made in my Film career. The position of Boom Operator had opened for a series of shorts in production at SLCC. My predisposition to editing had me reeling from the idea of holding a pole over an actor's head. However, I was too curious about the position to let the opportunity slip away; and in the end I just found another position I was skilled in. These experiences in my Directing class have taught me one thing, that you hand me a tool and I can use it.
